The "Gealog Measuring Interface Connection Units" are used to connect the Gealog measuring interfaces - SNP type to the Gealog RS485-Fieldbus.

The Gealog measuring interface connection units have the same housing as the measuring interfaces. They are plugged onto the DIN mounting rail normally on the leftmost position besides the measuring interfaces SNP.

The following versions are available:

• Gealog Measuring Interface Connection Unit SNP AC
  - Connection of the Gealog Measuring Interfaces SNP to Gealog RS485-Fieldbus
  - Power supply of the Gealog Measuring Interfaces SNP (+5V, -5V)
  - Integrated rectifier for easy mains power supply. (max. current: 800 mA)
  - Using this unit the internal charger of the Gealog SG can be used also for mains powered systems.
  
  
• Gealog Measuring Interface Connection Unit SNP AWS - A and - B
  This unit must be used for all remote sensor stations. It has the following functionalities:
  - RS485 Interface equipped with a special protection module to prevent errors due to potential
  differences between the electrical ground of the datalogger station and the ground of the sensor station
  - Isolated power supply of the measuring interfaces (+5V, -5V)
  - Additional quality control functionalities by internal measuring channels.
  - Isolated sensor power supply 12 V
  - This version has no internal rectifier
  
  
• Gealog Measuring Interface Connection Unit SNP DCDC
  - Special version with complete galvanic isolation between measuring interface and Gealog RS485-Fieldbus
  - Must be used for Gealog Measuring Inerface SNP Conductivity
  - This version has no internal rectifier
