Gealog micro SG - Installation Battery-Pack

The following components are required:

  1. Gealog micro SG Communication Module
  2. Battery-Pack
  3. Gealog micro SG tool set, consisting of hook wrench and hexagonal wrench 2mm
  4. Adhesive tape, e.g. standard insulating tape
  5. Silicone grease to treat the sealing O-rings before screwing them together. We recommend the product "Dow Corning - Molycote High Vacuum Grease" for this purpose.

Step 1:

Remove worm screw

The worm screw secures the bayonet lock of the cable base against twisting.

Step 2:

Remove cable base

Use the hook wrench to turn the bayonet to the "open" position and carefully pull the cable base out of the battery protection tube.

Step 3:

Unscrew the battery protection tube from the upper part.

Step 4:

  • Plug in battery
  • Push the battery cable and the connector completely into the recess of the upper part.
  • Insert the battery into the battery holder so that the label with the installation or production date is visible.
  • Secure the battery and the connecting cable for the probe with adhesive tape.

Step 5:

  • Connect probe cable
  • Place the cable in the battery protection tube and push in the cable base.
    Make sure that the tube with the capillary is not kinked.
  • Push the cable base back into the bayonet and twist it (with hook wrench)

Step 6:

Secure bayonet again with worm screw.

Afterwards, a functional test with the help of the GealogApp is recommended.
